Location
The Pybus Campsite is situated just over a mile from
the picturesque village of Kirkby in Cleveland and
is set below the Wainstones. It is ideally situated
for walking and climbing.
The campsite covers an area of 15 acres of rough
moor land and is ideal for wide games etc. There is
a large flat grassed area for ball games. It nestles
on the slopes of the Cleveland Hills and is bordered
on one side by a small stream. Access to the
site for cars and vans is via the road from Kirkby
and a rough track from the main gate to the site car
park.
The House
The house consists of three bedrooms (largest is 5 x
3 metres). There are no beds provided.
There is a fully fitted kitchen, sink unit, electric
hot water boiler, fridge and power points. The
kitchen also has a coal fire. There is a hall /
dining room with tables and chairs for 30, A cloak
room / store room and an ablution block. Gas
and Electric are obtained via £1.00 slot meters.

The Teesdale Building
A Wooden building with three bedrooms which will
sleep up to sixteen people on bunk beds (4, 6 & 6).
It has a kitchen area with gas hob, pots & pans etc.
Gas and Electric are obtained via £1.00 slot meters.
There is water or washing facilities in the
building. Water and toilets are available at the
house above, some 200 metres away. Suitable for
overnight stops. More

Camping
Camping is on rough moor land. Brick Alter fires are
available for use. Water and toilet facilities are
available at the house above. There is a camp fire
circle. The camping area is suitable for up to 100
campers in the summer.
